Sequoia Boutique Hotel

A lovely family runs this place. The breakfast was excellent, and our room had a beautiful Japanese style.

The owner was polite, helpful, and nice. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and good.

I was there with my kids, and during the day the owner kept telling us to sit quietly. He yelled at them. When I told him that, he kicked us out of the room without returning the full amount, then started a fight. That evening I went back alone to talk and get the rest of the money. He gathered a group of men and threatened to kill me, saying I wouldn’t leave the city. They said they were from Dzhambul. I’m an athlete, reasonable, and law-abiding, so I didn’t take their provocations or back down. I chose to keep things peaceful. But there were actually ten of them, and I was alone. One man had something in his hands, maybe a knife, metal rod, or gun. They blocked the exit with a car. It reminded me of the wild 90s. Customer care is nonexistent, with that same 90s attitude. The service sucks, and the safety of you and your children is a serious question.
