Aidana Hotel

I came away with a pretty positive impression and would stay here again if I were in Uralsk. The place is fine for the prices at the moment, though it’s not first-class. The rooms could use renovation but are still livable, and the staff were friendly, with nothing bad to say about them. Breakfast comes with the price. The porridge was tasty, though the rest of the food wasn’t especially good.

The heating was off because of a power outage, which made an already gloomy room feel worse 😖. It smelled strongly of dust, and I got the impression it wasn't cleaned often. The only towel didn't feel fresh. When I mentioned the bathroom faucet was leaking, they brought me a towel instead of something to wipe the floor with 😱. Breakfast was disappointing too. I won't be coming back.

Breakfast was basic but filling and tasty: porridge, tea, a bun, a bit of sour cream, and jam or honey. They also provide a complimentary bathroom set, and I'll attach a photo. The furniture is all old, and the shower was clogged, so I barely had time to wash. It's a cheap hotel for people trying to save. Just know there's karaoke in the basement, and songs carry up to rooms one through three until 2 or 3 a.m.

I was happy with the stay, and I've got other places to compare it with. The price is reasonable, the room has all the amenities, and a single room costs 5,000 tenge with breakfast included. I think that's excellent. The only small annoyance is hearing Michael Jackson karaoke.
