The staff were wonderfully friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean, and for the money it's good value. It isn't the most modern place, but I'd stay here again.

The cafe food was okay, and the most helpful people worked there. Some of the staff were helpful too, though not all. They said there would be a wet clean, but only changed the towels and left the floors unwashed. The place was relatively clean. We were there with children, part of a children's team, and the hotel is on the outskirts of the city. Some rooms had been renovated and smelled of paint, while our old, moldy room had beds with no mattresses, just very hard foam rubber. They creaked, as did the doors. You have to ask for a kettle because there isn't one in the room. The walls let through every sound, which was really unpleasant when a prostitute was invited there and everything could be heard. 😨 Even a TV turned up a bit could be heard through the walls at night.

The room had a big bed, all the amenities, and a shower with excellent water pressure. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the hotel has been newly renovated. There are two saunas, Russian and Finnish, with a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend it.
