Apple1 Guesthouse

The location made it easy to walk to the night market, good restaurants, Grasshopper Yoga, and Khaiphen training restaurant. I had a second-floor room with a small balcony and day bed, and each afternoon it felt like coming home. I booked five days, then stayed eight. I would've stayed longer, but the rooms were already reserved, so I've planned to come back for the last days of my Laos trip. The place exceeded my expectations. Rooms are spotless and clearly well looked after by the staff. Getting to know the owners, Nou and Jimmy, and their warm manager, Li, was a highlight. They're kind, know the area well, and are always happy to chat about life, the universe, and everything in between. The whole guesthouse has a relaxed, welcoming feel. I can't recommend it enough.

We were in a real bind over last-minute train tickets to Vang Vieng, and the manager was so sweet and helped us get them. Without her, we would've been stuck in Luang Prabang for a couple more days, which didn't work with our itinerary. The guesthouse is close to the center but on a quiet street. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, with air conditioning and a fan. Recommend!

We could have complimentary coffee and tea on the shared balcony, and some rooms have their own balcony. The WiFi worked excellently the whole time. This is a lovely guesthouse in a great alley location, quiet but close to restaurants, the night market, National Museum, Wats, and Mekong river. It's Lao family owned, and the family are very friendly and speak perfect English. Highly recommend staying here.

Apple guesthouse is a minute's walk from the Mekong river bank and just a couple of minutes from the temples and monasteries. There are cafes and restaurants nearby at a range of prices. We stayed four nights and wanted more, but they were booked out. We had a triple room with really comfortable beds, spotless throughout, and a nice modern bathroom with hot water. The air conditioning worked well, and there was also a ceiling fan and fridge. An excellent information pack in the room explained how to reach the sights, included a walking tour, and suggested local restaurants and businesses. The shared terrace is lovely, with tea and coffee making facilities and filtered water for refilling bottles. We also used the laundry service, which was very reasonably priced. We loved everything about Apple guesthouse. We were welcomed warmly and helped with everything, and highly recommend it.
