I came to Homm Souvannaphoum Luang Prabang this February for my birthday and had a really memorable stay. The team made me feel welcome right away, and finding birthday snacks and drinks waiting in my room was such a thoughtful surprise. My Garden View room looked out toward the pool. Everything around it felt green and peaceful, and it was lovely to wake up to that each morning. The hotel food was delicious, and the atmosphere stayed relaxed and comfortable. With the night market and lots of local restaurants nearby, it was easy to get out and explore. I also tried the spa. It was quiet and soothing, and my therapist was attentive and professional, just what I needed to unwind after a day out. What I’ll remember most is how much genuine care the staff showed. I’d happily return for another special occasion, and I recommend it when visiting Luang Prabang.

We came from Perth, Australia, as a family of four, my wife, our two kids and me, and loved our time at Homm Souvannaphoum Luang Prabang. The staff’s warm welcome and thoughtful service made us feel at home, and they did so much to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The Maison Suite was clean, comfortable and beautifully presented, with air conditioning and a fan. Towels and consumables were replenished regularly. The buffet breakfast was a highlight too, fresh, beautifully presented and full of local flavour. We also enjoyed a few in-house massages, which were relaxing and professionally done in a peaceful setting. In the afternoons we often wound down by the pool and bar. The kids loved swimming, while we enjoyed the service and the tropical feel. The hotel is an easy walk to the main night market strip, even with younger children, but far enough away to feel like a quiet retreat. We all left refreshed and feeling well cared for. If you’re coming to Luang Prabang, especially from Australia, we highly recommend it for its comfort, luxury and authentic Laotian hospitality.

The location made it easy to walk to the night market and dark market, and the included breakfast buffet was lovely. The property is beautiful and quaint, with welcoming, hospitable service from everyone. Our stay was very nice, and the place exceeds many 4-star properties in the US. The king bed could comfortably fit 3-4 people. The bathroom had what we needed to relax, and the air conditioner worked great even in 90-degree weather. Highly recommend.

The grounds are beautiful, the pool is nice, and breakfast was great. We also found the rooms super comfortable and the service incredible. It’s only a five-minute walk to the night market. We loved this historical hotel and would definitely stay again.

The restaurant food was delicious, and the staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. The hotel is ideally placed for getting to the markets and boat trips. We’ll definitely stay here again.
