Our booking had been messed up, and when we got there the rooms weren’t clean or properly made up. Also, you can’t get to the hotel by car. You have to walk down an alley to reach it.

The neighborhood is lovely, but our room was in really run-down condition. It wasn’t clean, there were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the tap was broken. The bed springs were poking through.

It’s a cozy, well-kept little family guesthouse, not a fancy five-star hotel. The price is very good, the bed is comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the AC is strong. The location is perfect.
