The dog was easily the most frustrating part of this stay. It’s cute, and I love pets, but the hotel owner’s dog started high-pitched barking and yapping around 7 AM every morning, then did it randomly through the day. That made it hard to sleep in or nap. They also let the dog onto all the dining tabletops, including the ones where breakfast was served. Management asks guests to remove their shoes before entering the lobby, which I understand as a Laos custom tied to cleanliness and respect, but dogs on dining tables felt neither clean nor respectful. Breakfast was just toast, jam, butter, sliced fruit such as watermelon, apple and/or dragonfruit, orange juice, coffee, and one omelet. There’s a filtered water dispenser for filling bottles, and you can keep them in the room fridge. When the dog wasn’t yapping, the rooms were quiet. I liked how dark the blackout curtains made the room. The bed was large, clean, and comfortable, the A/C worked great, and there were clean blankets in the closet. There was no safe. The bathroom was clean and the shower water hot, but they only provided two tiny soaps and two tiny shampoo packets. I had to ask staff for more after the first night. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, though about an 18 minute walk from the main roads, like the night market street. I would NOT recommend it.

We had three comfortable nights and would happily stay again. It’s a good small hotel a few hundred metres from the main street. Rooms are clean, with good aircon and showers. The beds are firm but very comfortable. The breakfast menu isn’t large, but the omelettes are good.

We enjoyed the location, though it’s a bit of a walk to the center. Good price if you want a clean place that includes breakfast.

The location feels a bit remote and the bed is quite hard. Bathrooms are good, breakfast is ok. For the price, it’s average, not bad but not good.

It’s a five-minute walk to the absolute center, good value, and a nice experience. The rooms have been newly renovated and are always kept clean and tidy. The owners are very friendly and will help with anything you need. I’ve stayed here many times and always come back!
