The owner was friendly and helpful, and we had a nice dinner there, Indian food with free Indian whisky from him, thanks! You can also book van tickets to some destinations at the hostel, cheaper than going through agencies. We had a decent-sized private room with a shared bathroom. The AC didn’t work, but the fan did the job.

The owner is a lovely Indian guy and was fun to talk to. He also seems to speak Lao. The restaurant food tastes very authentic, though it’s a little pricey if you want to feel full, and it seems to be mostly popular with Indians who live in the area. The hostel itself is simple, just a few beds to sleep in. There’s no AC, but I didn’t need it while I was there. The shower was good. My main issue was biting insects in the room, maybe mosquitoes or something else. I woke up feeling bitten both nights, though perhaps I only imagined it.

The owner is helpful, and the location is good. The room and bathroom are a bit rough, but 70k a night is cheap. If you want a comfortable room, you may need to look elsewhere.

The bed was good and the shower was hot, so it was okay in some ways. But most people only stay one night since there isn’t much to do in Pakse, and the place doesn’t seem to worry much about quality. A dorm in this condition should cost half as much. The bathroom was really dirty, and forget about charging your phone there. There are loads of mosquitoes, so bring repellent if you want a chance of sleeping.

The owner was friendly and helpful. He gave us a good price on the bus to 4000 Island and tips for a Pakse tour. If they repaired the building, it could be a nice place to spend time, but the whole place is in bad shape and a little dirty. There are two four-bed rooms, but people in the second room have to walk through the first, and light shines in from the other room. It’s very noisy. There was no toilet paper or bin in the bathroom, and no warm water there. Hot water was on the first floor. The food wasn’t good for us either. We have much better Indian food in Czech Republic, and it’s usually so tasty, but this wasn’t. Why put beans in your sauce? Meat sauce was 45,000, rice or a small naan 10,000.
