The bed was huge and comfortable, the AC ran quietly and worked well, and having a fridge was a bonus. You can rent a push bike or motorbike for a fee, and the free water was great. Everything was so clean, even the patio tiles. I got a warm welcome and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also helped arrange my onward travel and a ride to the bus station, which I really appreciated. 100 percent recommend. Thank you.

I’m Korean and work in Vietnam, and this was my seventh visit to Laos. Of all the places I’ve stayed in Southeast Asia, this one gave me the most enjoyable experience. The location is very good, and many foreigners seem to love this hotel. The host grandmother speaks English and understands foreign cultures. She does her best for guests, and sells beer and other drinks inside the hotel for less than they cost outside. I strongly recommend it.

I stayed nearly a month, and everything went smoothly. The owner is kind, helpful, and great to talk with. She can help with visa problems or your stay there. This guesthouse felt like finding a second family. Without a doubt, all the room services were more than enough.

The owner was so welcoming and spoke English really well, always in a gentle way. She even asked me to have dinner with her family, which was lovely. I could rent a scooter and get laundry done there too. The scooter cost 180,000 LAK with half a tank of gas, and her son, I think, drove me to Savannakhet airport. My room was clean and comfortable, though some of the furniture was a bit old. I’d happily stay there again if I get back to Savannakhet.
