Naga Hostel & Café

After finishing the loop, I stayed one night at Naga. The owner was so friendly and kind, and really looks after guests. His detailed loop map is updated daily; we followed it and found it very useful. The rooms were tidy and the bathrooms clean. The shower wasn't very hot, but it was fine for one night. We booked transport to Pakse through the hostel. When something went wrong with the van, the owner quickly helped arrange another bus. I'd highly recommend it to anyone doing the loop.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Naga was clean, and we didn't run into any problems. They gave us all the information we needed to get started and finish the Thakhek bike loop. Would definitely recommend it. Thanks again!

They sort you out with everything for the loop: a detailed map with instructions, transport connections, scooter rental suggestions, luggage storage, and even a shower when you get back if you need one. Really recommend staying here before the loop or for the night.

I usually avoid hostels with only mixed dorms, but I'm glad I stayed here. I came back from the loop and spent a whole extra day relaxing. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, it was super clean, and the showers had hot water and great pressure. They clean them after each use. Breakfast was filling and very good, Wi-Fi worked well, and the laundry service was good too. The owners are incredibly nice and give you an annotated Google Maps list of places to visit on the Thakhek Loop, plus driving tips. You can contact them for help during the ride, like finding a nearby mechanic, though I didn't need that service myself. They also helped me get medicine while I was still on the loop. They'll store your luggage for free in a locked room.
