The price is very competitive for the season, and the pool and view are both good. Service felt a bit lacking, staff didn’t seem properly trained, breakfast was quite poor, and the room amenities were on the cheap side. With a few improvements, it could be much better. It’s still good value if you plan to spend your days out and only use the hotel to relax afterward.

The security issue was the last straw: every room card apparently opened every door, which made it hard to feel safe. Before that, we’d found a cigarette stub in our bed, and the room smelled bad. Other guests partied until early morning, even though we’d booked outside the center hoping for somewhere quiet. We also heard animals in the ceiling or walls at night. The place looks nice at first, but up close it isn’t. Check-in was troublesome, though that can happen. It wasn’t very clean, the water dispenser was moldy and disgusting, and the rooms and property need refurbishing. One chair was missing the tops of its armrests, leaving screws sticking out, which is dangerous. I don’t recommend staying here.

The pool gets a star from me, as do the room and the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and the pool area is good for cooling off or relaxing with food or a beer. It’s a beautiful place, but pool service was poor. We also had bedbugs and were moved to another room the same day. Breakfast could have been more inspiring. On our last night, loud music from a guest room kept us awake and woke us early, and staff didn’t seem concerned. All in all, it’s a nice place and I’d recommend it.

The room price was reasonable, but everything else was terrible. We booked for five people, but our room wasn’t available when we arrived, so they gave us two rooms and charged an extra 200 kip for the second one. The electricity kept cutting out, and when it did, the water went off too. It happened often, so I hope you’re not on the toilet when it does. The beds were infested with bedbugs. I woke to blood smeared on the pillow and sheets, probably from moving around and crushing bugs in my sleep. We complained the next day and were moved to another room, but that bed had bugs too. While we were out on a tour all day, they moved all our things into two different rooms without asking, because another customer wasn’t happy. The lady manager said she had 20 yrs experience as a hotel manager and apologized. Be careful staying here.
