Lisha Grand Hotel C Vangvieng

The service was awful, with staff ignoring customers and staying on their phones. I won't be back. That was the worst burger I've ever eaten. Horrible.

We were told the manager couldn't offer a refund or any compensation, even though the five rooms we had booked cost more than the room we ended up with. It was a disappointing way for our stay at Mountain View hotel to go. We had booked five queen-bed rooms for our family, including our three children, expecting to stay together. Instead, on arrival we got only two rooms and were moved to another building. The receptionists couldn't sort it out despite my asking several times, so I contacted the person in charge myself. The manager was away and said he'd get in touch in the morning, leaving us without our reservation and too little time to find somewhere else. When I spoke to him the next morning, I asked him to look into what happened. He said the rooms had been flagged as a problem and we couldn't stay in them, though I could see other guests staying there.

The morning food needs work. It felt like low-cost food that didn't impress guests. The Wi-Fi wasn't working, and there was a lot of smoke from Chinese tourists 🙂‍↕️

The hotel itself was nice, but there was a party near my room at night. I couldn't sleep all night.
