Casa D Or Hotel

Check-in was more stressful than it needed to be because the reception staff came across as dismissive and uninterested in welcoming guests. They seemed impatient with even simple questions and made little effort to offer basic help. I found them unprofessional and unhelpful throughout my stay. The reception service fell far below what I expect from a hotel and affected my experience a lot. I hope management takes this seriously and gives the team proper guest-service training.

Toufic made our stay at Casa D’or Hotel feel especially welcoming. He greeted us with a warm smile and genuine care, and checked in to see how we were doing. The room cards keep stopping working, so you have to go back again and again to get them fixed. Pretty frustrating.

The building feels a little dated, and some rooms could use minor maintenance, though it’s clear the hotel cares about keeping standards up. During my visit, roadwork was going on, but the area outside the entrance stayed clean and orderly, which helped limit the inconvenience. The Wi-Fi worked reliably in both the rooms and shared spaces, and the hotel’s generator meant power cuts were barely noticeable. Casa D'or Hotel is on a prime street in Al Hamra, Beirut, just a short walk from the main streets, shops, cafes, side streets, and local attractions. Mini markets are nearby for picking up essentials, and you can find places to get a SIM card or exchange currency just steps away. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I noticed how proactive they were about guests’ comfort. It was a comfortable stay and a solid option for visitors to Al Hamra.
