We booked online, but when we arrived they said they were full and couldn’t take us. Why leave reservations open if there’s no room? It felt like the usual shady behavior from places you can’t trust.

Duroy Hotel is well placed for exploring, with restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. My room was comfortable, clean, and kept in good shape, and it had all the amenities I needed. The staff were warm and happy to help. Great value and service, I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it.

Diana at reception was especially welcoming and helpful, and the hotel’s location is great. We stayed five days and were upgraded. The rooms and their cleanliness were excellent, and the furniture felt new and well maintained. Breakfast was included; we didn’t eat it, but the variety looked delicious. There were some frustrating issues. The room smelled of smoke, and the key card kept failing, so we had to return to reception to reactivate it. That was especially difficult while carrying a newborn. The bidet water also stopped working. Reception sent someone to fix it right away, but it failed again the next day. For a four-star hotel, the key should work without repeated trips to the desk. I couldn’t stay the last day. I might not return, but I’d recommend it for a short visit if you don’t need many services. The value for the price was good overall.
