Gems Hotel

The room service was quick, the bed comfortable, the hotel clean, and the reception staff friendly. There’s also a parking garage. But breakfast was very poor, restaurant staff weren’t very friendly, and the room wasn’t supplied with water or tissues daily, even when I asked. There was no toothbrush or bathroom slippers either. When I raised these problems, I was told management had changed and this was the new management’s policy. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and that made the stay pleasant. The cleanliness, though, fell short of what I expect from a hotel.

I had a very bad stay, from the front desk experience to the condition of the room. In Room 404, the entrance light didn’t work, the air conditioning only blew air without cooling, and the sliding drawer wouldn’t function properly. There was also an unpleasant smell. I don’t recommend staying in that room.

The restaurant, gym, and lounge were all excellent, and the hotel had a stylish, relaxing feel. My room was modern and spacious, with a comfortable bed, a seating area, and a lovely bathroom stocked with quality toiletries. It was clean and well cared for. The staff were attentive and professional, so both check-in and check-out went smoothly. A memorable stay.
