The manager was a good guy and tried to help, eventually giving us a large suite to make up for the issues. It had some maintenance problems, though, and he didn’t help on the first night. I hope they renovate the hotel so the comfort and service match the price. I believe it’s still being renovated, so the online images don’t reflect what you’ll find, and the price may not be worth it. Our first room smelled strongly of pesticide and damp. They moved us the next night. The toilet had plumbing problems, with noise and bad smells. There was only one roll of toilet paper, and getting extra rolls or towels wasn’t easy. The online photos show panoramic views or may be old, and they don’t reflect the rooms’ actual appearance or cleanliness.

Al Manara Riva Hotel is well located, close to the services you need. The rooms were clean and organized, and the friendly, helpful staff made sure I was comfortable. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The location is perfect, housekeeping comes daily, and it’s a comfortable, family-oriented place. All the hotel staff helped make our stay pleasant and as comfortable as possible. Mr. Mohamad was especially kind and professional in responding to us, and the front desk, restaurant team, chef, and valet were all supportive and accommodating with our requests. Thank you for everything. We’ll definitely stay here again.

I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel. Service was poor, the bathrooms had no hot water, and they couldn’t even get the internet working. If you’re visiting Lebanon, I strongly suggest choosing somewhere else.

The location was the only good part. The room was disgusting, especially the bathroom, where rust was everywhere and the water was yellow. Room service was good, but the restaurant staff were careless and unprofessional. The eggs were soggy, and they didn’t refill the food with 30 minutes still left. This was the worst experience I’ve had, and I won’t stay here again.
