I stayed about a week and already miss the hotel. My room was great, and housekeeping were amazing and professional. Reception was always there to help, and all the employees seemed ready to do their best to make it a great stay. They specialize in a tasty Lebanese breakfast. The location is great, with everything you need nearby. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it for a trip to Beirouth/Zalqa.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the room had the comforts we needed, with free Wi-Fi and the AC running all the time. It was also spacious, modern, and very clean. For visitors from the U.S. wanting an affordable place in a central spot, Promenade Hotel worked really well for us.

The rooms are large, modern, and nicely renovated, and the pool was okay. But there are a lot of problems. Noise gets in because the balcony door won't shut all the way, and Lebanese drivers honk constantly. The Wi-Fi is awful. I know that's an issue across the country, but limiting guests to one device and having the connection drop so you must keep signing in is still frustrating. The lobby feels dated. I didn't try breakfast.

The rooms have a very modern look and seem newly renovated, and the staff were attentive and great. The lobby is somewhat dated. It's a convenient central base if you want to avoid downtown, with shops and taxis close by. Staff speak English and French.
