Byblos Guest House

Joseph was the real highlight of our stay at Byblos guest house. He welcomed us with a big smile and went out of his way to help. Even though he was busy, he gave us lifts into town when he could and shared coffee with us. His Lebanese hospitality made the trip, and we'll remember him forever. Our group of three also found the room comfortable and a great price for budget backpackers. It was kept very clean and felt safe, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. Thank you, Joseph! 🥹

Joseph's breakfast was a real highlight: fresh fruit, menakeesh, lebneh, tomatoes, cucumbers, coffee, and tea. We first had a wonderful stay in 2018 and came back in spring 2023. Joseph welcomed us with such warm, generous hospitality. Jbeil was a great location for us, with secure parking and the ruins, beaches, restaurants, and grocery shops close by. Shookrun jazzlen!

The place was super clean and spacious, with great food and a very good deal no matter the season. What stands out most is the owner: kind, respectful, and ready to sort out both little details and bigger problems, which gives him real credibility. He and his team deserve a hospitality award. The welcome is warm, and everyone I met there seemed to feel the same way I did. If there's a room that fits your needs, book it without hesitation. Words don't really do the hospitality justice.

Joseph even brought akidini, fresh fruit from his own trees, each morning. His hospitality and the staff's kindness were a wonderful highlight of our trip, from helping with luggage and giving directions and recommendations to putting out a perfect breakfast. I stayed here with my wife and four kids in April 2018. Our suite was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. They hosted us excellently in every way, with a warmth that's uncommon.
