The rooms were clean, though they felt more like a very good hostel, so I found the price a bit high. The hilltop setting gives you a great view over the bay, and town is within walking distance. James was a very nice, helpful host. I'd stay again if I were in town.

The card machine wasn't working, so bring enough cash to cover your stay. Cards worked everywhere else in st Lucia, but not at this property. The location is handy if you're traveling the next day, with a short walk to the ferry terminal. The host was friendly enough and the room was fine for one night, but the shower barely dripped and was basically unusable.

We liked the neighborhood and found the locals kind, but the hotel itself was another story. The shower only trickled, and the faucet actually gave us more water. Meals are $15 whatever you order, which felt expensive.

I couldn't get a refund even though I was following the cancellation policy. A terrible experience.

The road up to the property is extremely steep, and there isn't much to do nearby. There are only a few restaurants in town, and they close before dark. Ronny restaurant has a nice terrace, though it may shut early, around 16.00. The TV and air conditioning were okay. Also, breakfast is 15 dollars per person, so the information below is incorrect.
