The gardens, full of native trees and flowers, make these apartments feel like a quiet little oasis with the forest just behind them. Soufrière is only about a 10 minute walk away, and there’s a decent sized supermarket up the road. You can reach plenty of attractions on foot or with a short taxi ride. It’s budget accommodation with lots of nice extras, and Cisco is incredibly helpful, full of local tips for places to eat and visit, and happy to organize trips. I’d definitely recommend it.

We slept so well here. Diamondview is close enough for an easy walk into Soufriere, yet far enough away that the night parties didn’t keep us awake. Cisco was a great host, leaving water and local Piton beer in the fridge and bringing extra towels and linens when we asked. He also said we could pick fruit from the trees on the grounds. The location felt safe, street parking was no problem, and it’s near Sulphur Springs, Piton Falls, and some beautiful beaches.

Cisco helped make our stay go smoothly. He’s welcoming, knows the area well, and has a useful brochure with nearly everything you might need during your visit. He was happy to answer our questions. I’d recommend this place, especially for anyone wanting a more local experience.

For my first solo trip to St. Lucia, I chose Soufriere after doing a lot of research, and I’m so glad I found Diamondview on Airbnb. Cisco, the property owner, helped me with recommendations, advice, and even transportation, and made the trip feel really special. If you want to experience the island in an immersive way, this is a great place to stay.
