The location is hard to beat, across from the airport and just steps from the beach. We went to the beach every day and watched planes take off from the balcony in the evenings. The inn is made from [unclear in source], so noise wasn't an issue. I'll definitely stay at Forteville Inn again. I already miss it. I booked for Christmas when I couldn't find an Airbnb, partly because I already liked the food at the adjacent Blackbird restaurant. The room was a pleasant surprise, with modern furnishings and a modern bathroom. The AC was so cold that even at 75°F I slept under two blankets. There was lots of furniture and enough room to unpack, plus an iron and about 20 hangers in the closet. Ray from maintenance promptly brought everything I asked for and did it with a smile. Big thanks to all the staff, especially housekeeping, who did a fantastic job.

The bar and restaurant serve superb food and drinks, and the people there are friendly. The rooms are clean, furnished in a modern style, and have all the amenities you might need. The owner is lovely, professional, helpful, and extremely friendly. It's always a pleasure to stay at Forteville Inn, from arrival through departure. The inn is right beside the international airport and within walking distance of the beach.
