I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but people should know our evening meal was disappointing. The chicken curry was underwhelming, the rice was cold, and the onion and tomatoes hadn’t been cooked at all. They forgot his drink too, and the service overall didn’t impress us. Maybe it’s better during the day, but I wouldn’t recommend going in the evening.

We had a very reasonably priced buffet lunch of Sri Lankan claypot curry and rice, and it was delicious. It’s a locally owned restaurant with a lovely view over the sea.

The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and dinner was great. The Sri Lankan curries and rice were my favorite meal in southern Sri Lanka.

The jackfruit and pumpkin were especially tasty, and this was some of the best rice and curry we had. The prices are insanely low, so don’t forget to tip on top of the bill.
