The food and staff were really good, and I enjoyed the trip, though there were some problems. Maintenance needs attention, especially the tiles: some are loose or broken, and the pool edges are hard to see and haven't been grouted. Several raised tiles in the pool have hurt people. The five children there ended up with nine wounds between them, many on their legs and toes. There are also safety concerns around the grounds. Coconuts fall unpredictably from the trees, and a current line protrudes near the pool where it can get wet. Fixing these issues would make the hotel close to perfect. I recommend the place, but be careful.

The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean, and the pool area was beautiful and relaxing. We had some of the best food we've eaten, and the staff made us feel at home with top-notch service. There’s ample parking, and Athkandura Hotel is a great base for exploring Habarana and Sigiriya. Highly recommend.

We found the location excellent, close to Sigiriya Rock and Eco Park Safari. The room and ambience were lovely, and the food was great. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and ready to help with a smile. This was the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Habarana. Thank you so much.

After a safari, the pool was a great place to unwind. Our room was spacious and clean, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I'd highly recommend Athkandura Habarana to anyone visiting Habarana or Sigiriya.

The staff were so friendly they even brought us more breakfast than we'd ordered. The rooms were incredibly spacious and spotless, some of the best I've ever stayed in. I highly recommend this place.
