It was so peaceful by the lake, with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the food, and the morning jog along the Tissa Wewa bund was a treat. There were lots of different birds around too. A really relaxing stay.

The view and location made our stay especially pleasant, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality. The rooms were comfortable, very clean and well maintained, and the facilities were great. Staff were welcoming, kind and friendly throughout, with excellent service and top-notch hospitality. We had a perfect time and would highly recommend it.

From our window we could see Tisa wewa and dagaba, and a morning walk along the tank bunt gave us lovely memories of the ancient ruins and surrounding nature. Sunray lake residences was exactly the kind of peaceful setting I needed in Anuradhapura to relax. We enjoyed our three-day stay thanks to the hospitality of the owner, Mr Bhathiya, and his wife. Highly recommend for a break from busy life.

The temple area is only a few kilometres from Sunray Lake Residence, and the owner can rent you bicycles, which I think are the best way to see it. You can reach all the important spots around there easily by bike. The residence itself is a quiet, clean hostel very close to the lake, and we had a very nice stay.

Rooms are clean and the surroundings are peaceful, making it a restful place to stay. The owner was friendly and flexible, and the rates are quite affordable. You can order meals or choose to stay room-only. It's about 3 km from Pooja Nagaraya, with a lovely view over Thissa Wewa. Highly recommended for pilgrims and travelers looking for comfort and a quiet break.
