A really nice spot if you want to be close to the beach. It’s just a 30 to 50 metre walk along a sandy path, with no road to cross. The dorm room has high walls and windows and doesn’t get too hot. There’s outdoor seating, a place to boil water, and a rope for hanging wet things. They clean every day and provide a towel and white blanket in the dorm. The staff are kind and friendly, always around to answer questions, help with bus timetables, and share information about the Bay.

Good price, comfy beds, clean sheets, and decent bathrooms. We had an air-conditioned room and it worked perfectly. The common areas are friendly, and I loved all the plants. Cassun, who’s from galle, is a real credit to the place, always helpful, polite, and kind. Amazing, friendly, quiet, good vibes. I’ll be back soon. Thanks again 🙏🏼

We planned to stay one night, but fell in love with the place as soon as we arrived 😍. It’s full of plants, the room was perfect, and the shared kitchen is really good. The atmosphere is calm, the hosts are young and lovely, and they help with everything. It’s super close to the beach. Highly recommended!

I paid $1,000 per night for the dorm, and since nobody else was staying there, I had the whole place to myself. This is a great budget option for long-term travelers or digital nomads, with the cheapest private room in the area and just a two-minute walk to the beach. The staff were the best, so sweet, and happy to help with anything. They even drove me to the bus station for free and wouldn’t take my gas money tip. It was private and good for working and focusing. The internet was fast and reliable, the bed was comfy, there were several lights and charging plugs, and I had the fan to myself. They provided two plug-in mosquito repellents, but I only used one and it kept the bugs away. I also got a towel, shampoo, soap, body wash, tissues, and tea. There’s a full kitchen, though I didn’t cook and only used the hot water pot. It’s right by the beach, in town, near restaurants and shops. The money saved can go toward a $4,000 massage in town and food on the beach. There was a damp, moldy smell, though it wasn’t very strong. When it rained, the room leaked in some places, but not onto the beds, and the cement floor could handle the water. Moisture also meant normal mold spots could collect on things.
