La Seran Eco Resort - Ella

We spent three nights here and found it good value for money. The homemade breakfast was nice, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. It sits on a hill, quite far from the main road, and the drive isn’t easy, so an experienced driver and a car would be better. We had some trouble with hot water and water pressure in the bathroom, and Wi-Fi access was limited.

The views at La Seran Eco Resort are breathtaking, and it felt like a welcome break from the daily work rush. Staff were very friendly, especially Mr. Pradeep, who deserves special thanks. With local good food, lovely scenery, and such warm hospitality, it’s a peaceful retreat I’d highly recommend.

The quiet was lovely, with just birds and wind to hear, and the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. He also cooked delicious meals. There’s a separate dining area, lots of open space, everything is well maintained, and parking is available. We stayed half board in Cottage 102 on 22nd July. The cabana was beautiful and nicely designed, with a mini fridge, kettle, and hot water. Best of all was the breathtaking view from the balcony, with a mountain right in front and a small village nestled between it and the mountain where the cabana sits. It looked like a painting. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.

The hospitality was great, and the rooms were clean and spacious. One drawback is that the quad rooms are about 100 m from the restaurant, so you have to walk there at night for meals, which didn’t feel safe or convenient. The place is also very isolated, something to consider if anyone in your family has health issues. It can take at least an hour to reach a medical center along isolated mountain roads. 😞
