Arena Hotel

The hotel is very near the beach, which made things convenient. We had a good time, with great food, very clean and comfortable rooms, and really friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I only stopped at Hotel Arena in Aluthgama for a quick coffee, but the staff made the visit memorable. They were warm, friendly, and quick, and it felt like being welcomed by friends. Their good energy made the stop feel special. My latte was rich and smooth, served at just the right temperature, and the heart-shaped latte art looked picture-perfect. I didn't order a meal, but the snacks and treats passing by looked fresh and beautifully presented. The riverside setting is peaceful, with lush greenery, lovely outdoor seating, a great view, and a cool breeze. It feels secluded while still being easy to reach. If you're near Aluthgama, Hotel Arena is well worth a visit for the coffee, setting, and genuinely lovely team, whether you're staying or just stopping in for a caffeine fix. ☕

Check-in and checkout were easy, and everything felt well organized. The hotel was super clean, with comfy rooms and staff who were genuinely helpful. Relaxed vibe, great stay. I'd book again.

The boat takes you to an amazing beach, and I highly recommend it. The rooftop restaurant is also fantastic, with beautiful views, especially at sunset, and absolutely delicious food. The cafe by the river was great too, its pastries were 10/10. The rooms were very clean and cozy, and there was a nice common area. Honestly, this hotel is such a gem, with a super-friendly, caring staff.
