The location was handy, with access from both galle road and marine drive, a keells just a few meters down the road, and most main Colombo sights within a 20-minute drive. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. For the price, the room was okay, but the bathroom needs work: the hanger and bin were old and rusty, and water pooled after a shower because the drainage needs fixing. The AC swing was broken, the Safe didn’t work, and only about 4 TV channels worked. They did provide 2 complimentary water bottles, coffee, tea, and toiletries. The hotel felt a bit old and wasn’t very clean. Parking only had room for 4 cars, and they didn’t seem to care about anyone else. It was really hard to get help through reception, either they didn’t understand or didn’t bother responding. Room 310.

For a short business stay, it’s an economical option close to the sea and the city center, with malls and corporate offices nearby. You can see the shoreline from the hotel’s 5th floor, where the restaurant serves breakfast. The rooms are fine, but none have balconies, and the hotel’s interior is quite dark. The elevators work. Staff weren’t very friendly or well trained for a 3 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family stay, though it’s okay if you’re here briefly for a business meeting.

Just a terrible stay. There was hair everywhere in the room, the bathroom smelled bad, and the bedsheets and pillowcases were dirty and smelly. We were there for only one night. Housekeeping needs proper training to clean rooms. They took the money when we arrived and didn’t even check the room. It felt like they only wanted the money. DON'T GO!!!!!!!!!

The bathroom was dirty, with hair and soap left by previous guests. The receptionist was unfriendly and unwelcoming, and seemed to police guests. My friends had checked out but left their luggage in my room for the day because their flight was in the evening, and the receptionist made an issue of it. There was a lot of hassle and no help. I’d avoid this hotel in future.

The hotel is dated, but the location is really good and the price is good value. The staff have always been friendly to me, so I’d recommend staying here. I’d tell the owner to ban smoking onsite.
