We always feel at home at Chapelton House. We've come as a family for short visits and stays of up to a week, and the owner and staff have been incredibly hospitable each time. They handle every request with a smile. Best wishes to the wonderful team at the Chaplelton House.

The location on Galle Road is handy, with money changers nearby and food spots and grocery stores available. I spent three weeks here and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean and bright, and the food cooked to order was fresh and cheaper than market prices. The staff were polite, Manager Vijay was always ready to help, and the land lady was wonderful and felt like a motherly figure.

Meals can be made to your request, and ironing service is available. The place was clean and had AC. It's close to the main street for catching buses, and both check-in and check-out times are flexible.

I've stayed here for both work and downtime, and have used the dorm rooms as well as the private ones. The friendly, helpful staff are what stand out most, always trying to make sure I feel comfortable and safe. The AC works well, and the shower has just the right temperature and pressure. Breakfast is really good, especially the dhal curry and string hoppers. A good hotel for the price.
