The rooftop pool area had a cool look and a great view over the city, though the water isn’t heated, which could be a downside depending on the weather or season. Breakfast was decent, with local and international choices, fresh fruit, pastries, and hot dishes. It was well organized and a solid way to start the day, though not the most luxurious spread we had on the trip. Our room faced the south side of the city, opposite the Lotus Tower, and the view was great. It was modern, clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a business-lifestyle feel. This was our first stay at a Cinnamon brand hotel, and it was a very good introduction. Good value and a solid city hotel.

The rooftop bar was a nice place to spend time, and there’s a small pool up there. Breakfast was okay, though nothing special. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed it. The rooms were very clean and well appointed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay again, it was fine.

The infinity pool and bar on the rooftop were the highlight for me, with an amazing view of Colombo, especially in the evening. The location also made it convenient to explore the city. Cinnamon Red Colombo was probably the best hotel of our Sri Lanka trip. It felt modern, clean, and well organized, and our comfortable room had a nice city view. Everything seemed well maintained.

The breakfast team made each morning a joy, with delicious food, lots of choice, and welcoming smiles. Those mornings of laughter and connection will stay with me. My room on Level 25 was beautifully kept each day, and coming back to it felt like coming home. Thank you, Malindu Kumudu from Housekeeping, for your consistency, pride in your work, and quiet kindness. I celebrated my 60th birthday at Cinnamon Red Colombo with family and friends, and the stay became a deeply meaningful, joyful milestone because of the people there. From the warm welcome onwards, the team made our celebration feel special. Jake Walker, the Manager, deserves heartfelt thanks for his leadership and personal attention. Everything flowed seamlessly, and his professionalism was reassuring. Thank you, Cinnamon Red, for being part of a moment I’ll cherish for a lifetime. With gratitude and love.

The breakfast buffet was a real treat, with Sri Lankan, Indian, and Western food plus a substantial pastry selection. My room had great views, plenty of space, and an amazing bed and sheets. Suranga, the room cleaner, was efficient, courteous, friendly, and always happy to help. He was a delight to deal with, and the room stayed stocked with tea, coffee, and essentials. It was my first time at Cinnamon Red, and I was pleasantly surprised by its charm. I really enjoyed my time here.
