The staff’s attitude was unprofessional, and we had to ask for basics like towels, toilet paper, and soap. The towels and other items weren’t provided until we requested them. The room itself was dirty, some furniture was broken, and we found a cockroach in the bathroom in the morning. The bedsheets smelled bad and were dirty, with no spare set available when we asked for a change. The bed and mattress were in such poor condition and didn’t fit properly, so we slept badly. We expected the hotel to be ready when we booked through Booking.com. For a place in the middle of the city, the cleaning and upkeep were extremely poor. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

When we arrived, the driver even questioned whether the property was safe and in decent condition. The room I had booked wasn’t available, and I was asked to spend the night in the room they showed me. I refused. It was dirty, moldy, in poor shape, and furnished in an outdated style. The listing photos looked heavily retouched and nothing like the room. Agoda customer service handled it professionally and confirmed the issue. This seems like a bait-and-switch listing and a real health concern. Travelers should avoid this property.

We booked in a hurry because we were late for the bus, and I hadn’t checked the reviews. The rooms were filthy, and the bathrooms were very dirty and smelled awful. There was so much noise from the church opposite that it felt like sleeping in a military barracks. We had to ask for towels, but they gave us just one for the two of us. When we requested another, they said they had none and didn’t provide one before we checked out the next day. Customer service was disgusting. I saw reviews going back three or four months where the hotel kept apologizing without improving anything. If you want a horrible stay, choose this place. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs. Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

The room was just right for us, with plenty of space, and it was clean and comfortable. The facilities and location were both great. We were very happy with our stay.

Having separate space to live and sleep gave me privacy, comfort, and a practical place to stay. The downsides are that the space is limited and it can feel isolating.
