We checked in at Radisson Hotel on 24 February 2026 and checked out on 25 February 2026. Because of our early flight, we specifically requested a parcel breakfast for 5:30 AM, asking for only cut fruit. We expected at least basic hospitality from an international hotel, but the experience was very disappointing. The amount of fruit was shockingly small, barely enough for one person, let alone a proper breakfast. Worse, it was put in a flimsy container that wasn’t sealed properly. On the way to the airport it opened and spilled, leaving the fruit unusable and unhygienic. We effectively had no breakfast before a long trip. Hotels handle early departure breakfasts all over the world, and decent quantities and packaging are basic expectations. For Radisson Blu’s reputation and prices, this showed poor attention, quality control, and guest care. This fell far short of what we expected from a premium brand. Management needs to improve how it handles guests leaving for the airport.

Our flights over the Middle East were cancelled, so we booked at the last minute and arrived late. After such a stressful day we were hungry and exhausted, and the room service was brilliant. The staff were great, and breakfast was very good too. Tharusha was especially helpful at breakfast, and the lovely cup of tea was just what us Brits needed. Thank you.

The rooftop bar was a great place to unwind after a busy day, with lovely views, good music, and a calm atmosphere. My room was clean and well looked after, and the staff gave outstanding service. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend it.

We liked the hotel so much that we booked another stay for the following week. It’s right across from the beach, with a great panoramic view, especially from the rooftop bar. The rooms are roomy, modern, and comfortable. Everyone was kind and helpful, and Thanu deserves a special mention for sharing so much useful information and making the stay feel perfect. Great service and vibes in Colombo 😎

The breakfast buffet had a great range of Sri Lankan, North Indian, South Indian, and continental food, and the sea view and pleasant atmosphere made the clean dining area even nicer. Housekeeping did a good job too. Thanks to Samith, Gayan, and Isuru for being so warm, polite, and attentive.
