The rooms are nice and clean, and the price feels fair. Payment was a hassle, though: the owner doesn’t accept online transfers and kept saying the payment hadn’t gone through.

It’s a calm, quiet spot near Colombo’s busy cities, with spacious, comfortable rooms and the essential facilities. Maintenance is good and cleanliness is almost 100%. There’s adequate parking, but no lift. A cable or satellite TV connection would make it better.

We had zero regrets choosing this place for two nights. The rooms are well maintained, there are lots of facilities for a reasonable price, and the staff are friendly. Check-in and check-out were easy, and we could come and go whenever we wanted while still having great privacy. The host is a calm, nice woman who’ll try to help with anything. I’m definitely looking forward to visiting again. Just be ready for stairs: every room is above the first floor, and the only access is by stairway, with plenty of steps to climb. For a longer stay there’s no room cleaning service, so you’ll need to keep your room clean yourself.

We left as soon as we could and won’t return or recommend this place. We booked a triple room while traveling to Colombo for an operation scheduled at Lanka Hospitals the next morning. The owner said four people could sleep there, so we wanted the room for me, my sister, and two cousins. But on arrival, we were told only four people could enter the premises and our parents had to stay outside. The patient was due to be admitted that night with our parents, and she was having dinner when they told her to leave immediately. She had to finish eating in the car. The owner and caretaker were terrible, and the caretaker was especially awful. They spoke rudely to both the parents and the patient, with no empathy at all. The owner might speak very nicely when offering you a room, but think twice before going. The unprofessionalism was unbelievable. 👎👎
