I really appreciated the discount and how easily and warmly the host, Rohan, and his kind, attentive staff communicated from the start. The team went out of their way to make me feel at home. The location is convenient, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. I was also able to move into an apartment during my stay, which gave me more comfort and privacy. One thing future guests should know is that the building is sometimes fully locked at night, with the roller door and side gate padlocked. That made it hard to come and go freely in the evenings, and could potentially be a safety concern in the unlikely event of an emergency such as a fire. I hope the feedback comes across in the spirit of care and safety I intend. I had a very positive stay at Sycamore Residences and am grateful to the team for their hospitality.

The room was in excellent condition, and the property's safety was reassuring. Staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and flexible, and made us feel welcome. We had a wonderful stay at Sycamore Residences Colombo last week, with an excellent experience from start to finish. The owner communicated promptly and made sure all our needs were met with great understanding. I highly recommend Sycamore Residences to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay in Colombo.

We left after only 8 days because of the problems, but were charged for 11 days and for gas that had never been agreed on. The apartment also needed several repairs and wasn’t clean when we arrived. On top of that, we had to pay a full month’s rent upfront along with an equal amount as key money. The owner and agent team seemed unprofessional and focused on money. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooftop was a nice bonus, and the neighbourhood was peaceful, with the train station and an ATM nearby. The staff were kind and helpful, and they sorted out a late check-in when our flight arrived late. Really good stay for the price, thanks! 😄
