The kitchen was well equipped, and we had the place to ourselves for the cooking class. The experienced chefs explained things clearly and taught us a lot. We made 5 different dishes, and they were delicious. Superb class, highly recommend! :)

Don Iran, the owner, runs a cooking class for traditional Sri Lankan food, and it was the best food we've ever had. It's a nice family-run place with clean facilities, excellent service, and a great breakfast. We'd love to stay again.

The landlords were really friendly, and our room was big and very clean. We stayed 2 nights at this nice guesthouse and took the cooking class, which was delicious. We'd definitely recommend it and stay again.

I got the recipes by mail after the class, and at $15 it wasn't too expensive, so you could still give it a try. Iran was a nice guy and the food turned out well. But there were 11 of us, even though he'd promised in advance to keep groups to 8 people or fewer. We mostly just chopped vegetables while he did the cooking, so I didn't learn that much.

The curry served in banana leaves for dinner was soooo delicious, and the showers with warm water were really awesome. We had a very nice stay and a warm welcome.
