We spent three nights here with our two young kids. The area was calm, about a 6-8 minute walk from the city center, and the room was clean with comfortable bedding. Staff were nice and accommodating. There isn’t much shelf space, especially in the bathroom, where there’s nowhere to put your things. Noise is the bigger issue: you can hear everything from the other rooms and terrace. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or choose somewhere else. Apart from those two points, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it in Ella.

The welcome was excellent, and I slept like a baby in the very comfortable bed. It’s an easy walk to Ella’s main road for shops and lunch or dinner. I only stayed one night and enjoyed Ella, though I’d recommend spending at least two.

We were very happy with our stay at Misty Elegance in Ella. The staff were so friendly, polite, and caring, and did everything they could to help us enjoy our time and figure out what to see and do.

It’s less than a five-minute walk to the heart of Ella, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room had a homestay kind of feel, which I’d recommend if that’s what you like. We were there for four nights, and no one offered to clean the room or replace the towels or sheets. The bathroom smelled quite bad, like there might be a drain backlog. The patio door also didn’t close properly, so noise from other guests, animals, and people outside could be loud at night. Still, I’d recommend staying here.

Just 300 m from Ella railway station and 500 m from Main Street, where the restaurants are. The rooms are clean, and breakfast is available. A comfortable place to stay on a budget.
