The property was beautiful, with an amazing view, and the room was spacious enough for us and kept us warm. It was out of the way from Ella town centre, which suited us since we had a car to explore the surrounding areas. They were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They also did a great job accommodating our pup. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much!
For anyone wanting to experience Sri Lankan hospitality, Orchid Villa is the place to go. We found a secluded little paradise, and the hosts were so lovely and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the homemade food was super tasty.
The hosts are friendly, and the spot is quiet. It’s right by the railway station, which is the simplest way to get there by public transport. Message the owners before you arrive. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is a little small but fine, and breakfast was delicious. A good choice for backpackers. 💯
The family made us feel welcome straight away and shared lots of useful ideas for things to see around Ella. The villa is a little way out of town, but the drive there is lovely, with plenty of local life to see along the way. We had a fantastic stay with such friendly people.
The room was comfortable and lovely, with its own bathroom, and the view just outside was beautiful. It’s a peaceful place, too. We tried the food and it was so good, especially whatever they made for us. Hard to put into words.
