The staff were incredibly friendly, and on our departure day they even packed snacks for our train ride. Communication was handled very efficiently over WhatsApp, and guests could join all the events at the connected Hive Hostel. Breakfast is served there, and dinner is available if you book half board, which I thought was an easy choice. Our room was cozy and well equipped with a fan, fridge, mosquito net, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The bed was very comfortable, and there was outdoor seating just outside. The only small drawback is having to climb a few steps to reach the property, which is common around Ella. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Laundry is available for a good price, 600 rupees per 1 kg. The rooms are nice, and the owner provided excellent, kind service. It's quite close to Ella railway station and some nice restaurants, yet the place is still quiet and calm.

The owner is wonderful. She cooked breakfast and dinner, and was also available to teach a cooking class in the evening. Our comfortable room was surrounded by greenery, with a mosquito net over the bed and the option of a hot shower. One of the best places we've stayed so far!

I planned to stay one night and ended up adding another. The lady who works here is the sweetest, and the rooms are clean with everything you need. The beds are super comfortable. Make sure to include breakfast, it's so good: a typical Sri Lankan spread with fruit, pancakes, eggs, dahal and coconut bread, served on your little terrace whenever you want. I highly recommend staying here. I couldn't have chosen better!

A welcoming homestay in a brilliant location, with helpful people and everything you need while in Ella. The rooms are comfortable, and the cooking class was wonderful. Can't recommend it enough.
