The host was really friendly and always happy to share trip advice. I spent four weeks here, taking day trips and one four-day trip up north. It’s a quiet guesthouse a little outside busy Galle, with buses and shops nearby. Galle and the beach are easy to reach, about 15 minutes by bicycle. If you want somewhere peaceful outside town, this is it.

I only had one night in Galle, unfortunately. Brown's Edge Residence was clean, modern, and very reasonably priced, but what stood out most was the host’s hospitality. He brought me tea and went out of his way to help me enjoy the stay and make the most of my short time in Galle. I’d definitely have stayed longer if I could.

The owner was so helpful that the place felt like home. Browns edge residence is in a calm, quiet spot close to busy galle town. The rooms were clean and nice, and there’s a beautiful garden and a large parking area too. We had a fabulous stay.

The owner kept checking in and was kind and ready to help with anything. It’s a peaceful, attractive, clean residence, easy to find and near Galle town. The room setup was clear, the bathrooms were clean, and there’s a good kitchen where you can safely cook and eat. There’s also a big lobby with a TV and radio to enjoy. A great quiet place for travelling. Enjoy Sri Lanka.
