Indika and his lovely wife gave us gracious, fabulous service. The place had clean, tidy, spacious rooms and was close to all the major locations in Galle. Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend!

Indika was kind and helpful, even taking us to his other luxury resort for breakfast and a swim, and helping us with our tuktuk. The house is such a find in Galle, tastefully decorated, and we loved the outdoor bathroom with its strong shower. Great value, and I'd highly recommend it if you're in the area.

We've stayed in lots of places in Sri Lanka, but Indika's Residence was by far the most beautiful and memorable for me, my husband, and our son. I don't know where to begin. The house, rooms, and breakfast area felt more like works of art than a hotel. The owner is an artist and loves collecting antiques, and that care shows in every detail, from the bathroom decor and amenities to the beautifully presented, delicious meals. The owners' kindness and hospitality made us feel like part of the family. 100 points out of 5!

The hosts are really nice and helpful, and the house is full of art and looks really cool. Indika’s residence is a wonderful spot for a few days in Galle, with peace and quiet while still being close to the main attractions. I'd recommend staying here.

I meant to stay at Indika’s Residence for one night, but the house was so beautiful that I extended to two. Indika and his wife Dineshi pay incredible attention to detail, and all the ornaments and antiques are lovely. I had the upstairs bedroom with the outdoor bathroom, which was heavenly. The monkeys outside were cute and added to the atmosphere. Breakfast was included at Indika’s other villa-like hotel, which was jaw-droppingly beautiful too. There's an open dining and kitchen area by the pool, cabanas tucked down separate paths, a lagoon, and a private spot for massages. Beautiful statues from all over Sri Lanka fill the place. I've been visiting Sri Lanka for 22 years, and this was one of the nicest places I've stayed. I can't think of anything to improve at either place. Indika was attentive and quickly arranged transport whenever I needed it. He also helped me find good quality but cheap cricket shirts at a local shop. I'd recommend staying at either place. Definitely ask for the Sri Lankan breakfast: hoppers, dhal, fresh fruits, mango juice, and milk tea. I'll be back!
