SC Galle

The rooftop has a beautiful view over the city, and you can use the pool whenever you like. I stayed at SC Galle for around two weeks. The couple who run it were lovely and helped with everything, and my room was large, clean, and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend SC Galle!

The house and apartment were cared for so well, and everything was clean and pleasant. We had everything we needed in the apartment and kitchen, plus a few extras. The grounds were lovely too, with trees by the windows that made it feel calm and relaxing. In the mornings we fed the squirrels and birds. Jackie and Igmar were responsive, helpful hosts, and Jackie quickly sorted things out whenever we had even a small question or problem. This was probably the best rental we’ve had. I’d give it more than five stars if I could. One tip: read the rules before checking in. I skipped them and ended up asking questions they already answered.

Thank you for responding. I was impressed that you had been looking at how things were for both of us over time. I’m not a swimming instructor, just a father hoping my son becomes a good swimmer. I raised my rating to four stars. My earlier score was because I expected the pool deck to be cleaner. As a Sri Lankan, I really appreciate your contribution to the Galle community through this impressive pool complex. We’re moving to New Zealand on March 20, so we won’t be able to visit this time. I’d planned to keep moving from one place to another, but I liked it here so much that I stayed. The couple who run the place, the big clean pool, and the service all made it an easy choice. There was food service, a kettle and tea in the room, WiFi, swimming services, and other things too. The price was fantastic for what’s offered. It’s up on a hill, which is the one drawback. You need transport or the energy to walk down and back up if you want to buy something. The upside is a great view across much of the city and the green areas.
