Warner drove us wherever we needed to go and showed us around the national park, pointing out wildlife along the way. The location is surrounded by nature, close to Habarana town and also convenient for Dambulla, Sigiriya, Minneriwa national park and plenty more. The hospitality from Warner and his chef was amazing. All the food was delicious, including the ginger tea, and it was homemade Sri Lankan food. We even learned to cook a range of dishes using traditional Sri Lankan methods. We had a fantastic time and can’t thank the team enough. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The smooth booking and Warner’s knowledge of the area made planning easy. He’s been here for almost three decades and is happy to share what he knows, so I’d suggest sitting down for a chat with him if you visit. Kamatha’s decor, atmosphere, host and location all made for a memorable stay. It takes you back in time and gives you an authentic Sri Lankan village experience. A fantastic place to spend a few days. Highly recommended.

We had lunch at Kamatha, then the owner Warner arranged a lovely dinner at his campsite. Getting back to Kamatha in an adventurous jeep ride made the whole thing a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We had a great time and will definitely go again to try more of the adventures Warner offers.

We had the best Sri Lankan meals we’ve ever eaten, and the vehicles and people were excellent. I’m pretty sure Warner is the best person in the area. Kamatha is a great spot for adventure seekers. Thanks for having us, Warner. Highly recommend!

The mud from the 4x4 adventure will wash away, but the memories will stick with us. Our Jeep boys had a brilliant time, now for the third visit. Warner is a great host and really helpful, and we’ll definitely be back. Great Sri Lankan food, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere if you want to unwind and get out on an adventure.
