The place was quiet, and I’m glad we found it. Staff were welcoming and accommodating, and the food was good. It looks like it was built to a high standard, though it doesn’t seem to be thriving now. Prices felt a little high next to nearby options. Maybe bringing in tour groups and offering safari pickup from the door could help with the lack of guests.

This resort was a huge letdown. The place wasn’t cared for properly, cleaning standards were inadequate, and the rooms felt far from hygienic. The food was hopeless, bland, cold, and barely edible. They also seemed clearly understaffed. Definitely not worth spending a holiday here.

Mr. Shane, the manager, was welcoming and ready to take care of everything we needed. The surroundings were wonderfully quiet and peaceful, and the location was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with fixtures that suited the setting. AC is a must in the heat. I’d absolutely recommend staying here in Hambanthota, especially for nature lovers.
