We were six adults in the family and had a lovely, cozy, memorable stay. The house is spacious, and the staff team were super helpful. It sits on a hill with a lovely garden and view, yet town and the railway station are only a short walk or tuk tuk ride away. For a change of food, Mint in the Mist is nearby and has great food that they deliver.

The views at Haputale were breathtaking, and the reception made us feel at home. Yasith and Siripala (Manager) gave us their fullest support to make our stay comfortable. Be sure to agree on your meal plan with the Bunglow manager before arriving, since outside meals aren't permitted.

Our host Lakshmi was lovely and helpful, and the home cooked food was excellent. Clouds bungalow has stunning views over rolling tea plantations, with plenty of room for two families with kids in a beautifully appointed home. We absolutely loved our stay. It felt much more authentic and restful than Ella.

The rooms were spotless, cozy, and comfortable, and we appreciated the privacy and quiet. Staff were warm and attentive, and we felt at home. We had a wonderful weekend with family and friends at Clouds Holiday Bungalow, Haputale. The garden was beautifully maintained, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views made it feel like a dream. Meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and their signature tea was perfect for the cool Haputale weather. Service, cleanliness, and value for money were all top-notch. We feel lucky to have found this hidden gem, and highly recommend it for a peaceful, scenic, heartwarming holiday. We’ll definitely be back.
