Dihini Villa

We stayed for a month, and the hosts were caring and kind the whole time, responding quickly whenever we needed something. The hostess often shared tasty local dishes and cocktails, and regularly offered bananas and coconut water from the garden. The villa was cleaned and the bed linen changed each week, and we could request laundry. It’s quiet and cozy, without loud parties, and most of the residents are local retirees. We loved the solitude, surrounded by nature and jungle. With a bike, the beach is a 3-5-minute ride away. We loved everything.

The owner and her daughter were wonderful and helped me with everything I needed. The internet is good, and there’s a small patio facing the street. The studio has a big bed right beside the kitchen, but the room feels stuffy and smells damp and moldy. It’s far from the beach and shops, so you need transport. Could work for a single couple or young people without many expectations.
