We really appreciated Sithum’s kind, attentive service and the whole Bawans team’s warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, private, and budget-friendly. Having a kitchen to make our own meals was especially useful. Shops and the beach are nearby, so the location worked perfectly. Highly recommend Bawans for a lovely stay!

The house was well equipped with everything we needed and very good value. The hosts helped us get settled, and the beach is easy to reach: just cross the road and you’re along one of the island’s most beautiful stretches of shore. We’d definitely consider booking again if we return to Hikkaduwa.

At Bawans Villa & Restaurant, the service was excellent from arrival right through to leaving. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the beach view was a lovely bonus. It’s a peaceful, relaxing location that’s still handy for visiting nearby attractions such as the Madu river boat safari, Akurala Beach, and Hikkaduwa Beach. A great place to stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The host was kind and quick to respond, and the outdoor space was a lovely place to unwind. There’s no pool, but we didn’t mind. The villa was clean, roomy, and comfortable, in a quiet spot close to everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

The food was good and reasonably priced, and our room was comfortable for the three days my husband and I stayed. The team at Bawans villa were so kind and humble with their service. I’d definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone.
