The beach and station were both within a five-minute walk, which made the location really convenient. We stayed at Ananda's house in February 2019 and loved it. The train passed occasionally, but it was quiet and never bothered us. Our whole Sri Lanka trip was made better by this stay. The house was cozy, and the hosts made us feel welcome and did everything they could to help us enjoy ourselves. Breakfast was delicious and prepared to suit our preferences. We also enjoyed evening chats, excursions to places off the usual paths, and the warm welcome. Highly recommended!
