Nimali Guest House

We loved the homemade Sri Lankan breakfast, and the hosts were so welcoming and made sure we felt safe. This small guest house sits in a garden, close to both the beach and the railway and bus stations, all within walking distance. It’s also more peaceful than many beach spots right by a noisy road. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with private bathrooms, and the hosts are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

I felt safe and well looked after here as a solo female traveller. The welcoming family who own the place were lovely, and my room was spacious, spotless, and full of natural light. The hot shower had strong pressure, and the big towels were fluffy. Shops and the railway station are an easy walk away. 100% recommend ⭐️

We spent two nights here and would happily stay again next time. It’s about five minutes from the railway station, bus station, and beach. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and had its own washroom, with a good price. The boss spoke good English and was friendly. We could use the kitchen to cook for ourselves, and the WiFi was fast.

There’s a living room, dining area, and kitchen, plus space to park three vehicles in the garden. The house and rooms are spacious and clean, and the basic facilities are all there for an amazingly low price. I’d highly recommend it.
