Really nice time at this resort. The food was good and tasty, and they always checked what customers wanted before preparing it. The support staff were polite, helpful and kind. Malmi and Gayan were fantastic and especially polite. Good job, keep it up!

Freshly cooked meals, especially the local food and seafood, were simple and tasty. It felt more homely than hotel-style, which Indian travellers may appreciate. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, making everything from check-in to food service smooth and stress-free. Rockside Beach Resort is close to Bentota beach, just a short walk to the sand. Since it’s set back from the main road, it stays quiet and has a peaceful beach feel without too many people around. The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable enough, with good beds, clean bathrooms and hot water. They aren’t especially luxurious, and some look onto greenery, which adds to the calm. A good, affordable option for a clean and quiet stay, with good service and value for money.

Gayan is so kind and polite, and his hospitality really stands out. He does wonderful things with coconut. Don’t miss the cocktails here, they’re wonderful too!

The food is really good, especially the veg curry, and the hotel is well maintained. It’s very close to the beach. Hospitality is top-notch, particularly from Mr Gayan.

The hotel has a wonderful location. At breakfast, Gayan and Roshan were very friendly and did a great job accommodating customers’ food preferences.
