The hosts, Mr aloy and his wife, made sure every detail felt right, and you could tell they truly cared about our stay. From the minute we arrived, it felt like being welcomed into a beautiful home rather than checking into a hotel. The room was cozy, and there were thoughtful touches for relaxing: a private bar stocked to our liking, a comfortable lobby, and a high-fidelity music system that made the evenings fun. If karaoke is your thing, their speakers turn the lounge into a little concert spot. Breakfast was filling and delicious, and they served it at the time we asked for. No strict schedule, just considerate hospitality. This place has its own vibe, and I’d recommend it if you want a stay that’s comfortable, fun, and full of heart.

Samanthi’s cooking was one of the best parts of our stay. Her traditional Sri Lankan dishes were flavorful and satisfying, with just the right amount of spice. The area was peaceful, with shops and places to eat within easy reach. We spent August 2024 in this traditional Sri Lankan home and had a lovely time. The double room was spacious, with a modern ensuite, and it balanced comfort with local charm. It was impeccably clean, and the strong shower felt great after long days out in the sun. The air conditioning and fan helped a lot on warmer evenings. Our hosts were so welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were friendly and gave us useful recommendations. Comfortable rooms, good food, kind hosts, and a serene setting made it a memorable stay. We’d highly recommend this charming guesthouse for an authentic Sri Lankan experience.
